The pupils will benefit from 150 electronic lessons for the subjects of math, physics, biology, chemistry, Romanian and Russian

Bucharest, 6th of August 2010 - 20 high schools in the Republic of Moldova will benefit from educational software provided by SIVECO Romania, according to an agreement recently concluded in Chişinău.

The agreement has been signed by the Education Minister in the Republic of Moldova, Leonid Bujor, and Florian Ciolacu, Vice-President International Sales within SIVECO Romania. The event was attended by Victor Bodiu, State Minister, representatives of the Ministry of Education and Heads of Education District/ Municipal Directions.

The project envisages the implementation of multimedia educational content as part of the process of education modernization in the Republic of Moldova.

The AeL eContent lessons will cover the subjects of mathematics, physics, biology, chemistry, Romanian and Russian. 20 high schools from 15 districts (namely Cahul, Căuşeni, Cimişlia, Criuleni, Drochia, Făleşti, Glodeni, Hînceşti, Ialoveni, Leova, Nisporeni, Orhei, Străşeni, Teleneşti and Ungheni), as well as the municipalities of Kishinev and Bălţi have been included in the project.

The implementation costs of the pilot project developed in the Republic of Moldova will be covered by SIVECO Romania. The pilot will unroll during 2010-2011 study year.

"We are certain this project too will contribute to the development of pre-university education in the Republic of Moldova. Our company has been providing previous support to the Evaluation and Examination Agency in managing activities specific to the baccalaureate and gymnasium graduation exams, respectively. The integral implementation of the Automated Data Processing System for the 2010 exams session has ensured the smooth development of the baccalaureate exams while proving its efficiency. During the period of 2006-2007 we have secured together with the Ministry of Education in the Republic of Moldova implementation of a system for computer aided training in 64 teaching units in the Republic a Moldova", said Florian Ciolacu.
