“Money for High School” national social security program grants financial aids to pupils in need, enrolled in high schools or vocational schools, with ROL 1,5 mil monthly gross income or less. This financial aid consists of ROL 1,8 mil monthly and is awarded every month, including in graduation exams period.
Software system has several linked components:
Portal ( http://baniliceu.edu.ro), used to publish public information regarding eligible student's list, legislation or purchasing processes monitoring Online restricted application used to collect financial applications. Publishing module, that ensured publishing reports regarding eligible student’s list and beneficiaries on the Internet Discussion board (private and restricted forums)
The project included the following steps:
- Gathering student's financial applications and storing them in central database, using an online application, or directly, importing MS Excel files
- Publishing eligible student's list on the internet (on public website)
- Publishing Euro200 program's beneficiaries on the Internet (on public website), before and after solving student's appeal
- Public information, using public website and SEI discussion board (using a public forum and a limited one)
In 2005, the software system collected over 200,000 financial applications, just 138847 of the total number of these applications were eligible. The total number of beneficiaries was 87,018. Gathering process took place in a secure and transparent manner.
