About SEI

IT Based Educational System ("SEI") is a complex program initiated by the Ministry of Education and Research in 2001, holding as main objective the support of the learning/teaching process in the undergraduate learning system with latest IT tools.

Presentation

SEI is about setting into practice the Romanian Government strategy in the field of computer assisted education.

Strategy

Components and stages were desigend based on EU methodologies, taking into account the existing logistic and financial support in Romania.

History

The first three stages of the project, concluded in 2001-2004 are briefly described in this section.
